About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Journal Com-Edu is one of the journals aimed at becoming a forum for the development of nonformal and informal educational knowledge.

Comm-Edu Journal publishes original research results related to:

1. Community education through education approach

2. Development of training to increase community capacity

3. Development of learning models, training and supporting media useful for the development of the quality of life of the community.

We recommend using a research approach using qualitative, quantitative, classroom action research, research and development are also descriptive.

Since December 19, 2019, the journal has been ACCREDITED by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication.

Peer Review Process

Comm-Edu: Community Education Journal, is a peer-reviewed journal published three times a year since 2018. Articles in this journal should be written in Indonesian and English. This Journal focus on the issues of becoming a forum for the development of nonformal and informal educational knowledge. All submitted papers are put trough double-blind review process.

The journal accepts both research articles and theoretical study articles, which will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. Once a manuscript is submitted trough the online process, a journal editor examines the manuscript and determines its appropriateness for the full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to one or more peer reviewers. The journals editorial board will then consider the peer reviewers reports and assemble the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication.

For the year 2018, Volume 1, Number 1-3 are scheduled for publication (January, May, September).
