About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Journal of Innovative in Community Service (JICS) is published by IKIP Siliwangi which aims to publish the results of theoretical studies and implementation of community service in the fields of formal, informal, and non-formal education.
Authors who can publish their articles on JICS include:
1. Educators such as teachers, lecturers, and students in formal, informal and non-formal education.
2. Observers and researchers in the field of education or training.
3. Decision makers in the field of education or training.

Peer Review Process

Journal of Innovative in Community Service (JICS), is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year starting in 2021. Articles in this journal must be written in Indonesian or English. This journal focuses on publishing articles in the field of education, be it formal, informal, or non-formal education.

All submitted documents are put through a double review process. The journal accepts articles from community service results and theoretical study articles from community service results, which will be reviewed by a minimum of 2 (two) reviewers.

Once a manuscript is submitted online, the journal editor examines the manuscript and determines its suitability for full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to one or more peer reviewers. The journal's editorial board will then consider the peer-reviewed report and make a final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication.

Journal of Innovative in Community Service (JICS) is published twice in one year in February and August

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
