Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif-survei. Dengan teknik quota sampling dan mempertimbangkan sampel berdasarkan pendapat ahli. Penilaian berdasarkan jumlah guru yang mengembalikan angket penelitian sebanyak 20 orang dengan sebaran 13 guru senior dan 7 guru junior. Karena pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam satu waktu, maka peneliti merancang desain survei cross sectional. Pengumpulan data persepsi siswa dan guru tentang pembelajaran toleransi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Tebo dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket skala Likert. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata guru (89,44%) memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP di Kabupaten Tebo. Dengan demikian, terdapat persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran toleransi pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP di Kabupaten Tebo.
